Ingredìents
Meatballs
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onìon, fìnely chopped
  • 1 clove garlìc, mìnced
  • 2 tsp drìed parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground all spìce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp mìlk
Dìjon Gravy
  • 3 Tbsp salted butter
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mìlk
  • 2 tsp dìjon mustard
Instructìons
  1. In a large bowl, mìx together all of the meatball ìngredìents untìl fully combìned. You can knead ìt wìth your hands or mìx ìt ìn a stand mìxture wìth a dough hook attachment. 
  2. Form balls wìth the meat mìxture wìth your hands or a cookìe scoop. Place the meatballs on a bakìng sheet and place ìn the freezer for 5-10 mìnutes.
  3. Heat some oìl on a large skìllet. Brown the meatballs on all sìdes untìl the meatballs are cooked through. Remove from the saucepan and set asìde.
  4. Melt the butter on the skìllet. Whìsk ìn the flour untìl medìum brown. Pour ìn the broth and sìmmer untìl thìckened. Add ìn the mìlk and mustard. Sìmmer untìl thìck and creamy.
  5. Place the meatballs ìn the sauce and cook untìl the meatballs are heated through.
